We are a group of 6 guys in George using a wide range of Kayaks. The XXXXXX I used to use had absolutely no stability and I was almost killed of Mosselbay Point due to this no stability on the first "voyage" and needed to be rescued by my buddies. Some of the other XXXXXX users complain about stress fractures on it. At the local fishing shop the owner sells about 40 kayaks a month. He sells any brand you want but Fluid are very popular. All of us are now using Fluid skis and although it doesn`t have a rudder(it can be fitted) and the hatches are small it is ultra tough-build of thick plastic! Just what you need when you lauch at the rocks like we have to in the Cape. The Fluid have a Cat type design (double hull) which makes it extremely stable. At Mosselbay Point the sharks are sometimes bothersome as they continue to circle around the Kayaks when the Bonnies are biting. If you fall off the Kayak this can become a disaster. We all use Shark-shields aswell. One guy still uses his Macski and are also very happy with it. Also- my xxxxxxx didn`t have any foam in. I send xxxxxxx an email about this stability but he didn`t even bother to listen to my /our very valid complaint. For me Fluid was a life changing experiece and therefore my Username. There must be other great products as well but I am NOT one for a XXXXXXX.

The Synergy features a soft tri-hull that is super stable. The keel makes the Synergy track in a perfectly straight line while the hull has ample rocker to make it maneuverable when needed. The boat is just as at home on the ocean and rivers as on flat water. The lifted bow punches through waves with ease, while the unique stern design creates stability when surfing or stationary.

The Synergy seats 1 or 2 persons and has a 3rd centre seat for a small passenger or for use when paddling solo. It also comes with hassle free molded-in footholds that can accommodate a large range of paddler sizes. Four drain holes get rid of water that splashes in the boat, preventing the boat from turning into a bathtub. The boat features four handles positioned conveniently, which, combined with the length, makes it easy to manhandle.

A sealed hatch in the middle and rear of the boat keeps items like keys, cell phone, tackle or gear perfectly safe and dry. The recess on the stern is designed to hold most regularly used cooler boxes as well as a wide range of dry bags and fishing bags. Bungee cords are added on the bow that can be used to stash some extra items or hold your paddle when stationary out on the water. A wide range of fittings are available on the after market to tailor fit your kayak for various applications.

The outfitting is finished off with a drain plug for the unlikely event of water leaking into the boat, and a range of webbing loops where optional thigh straps can be attached. Bouyancy foam can be factory fitted for seaworthy bouyancy compliance. (certificate issued)
